The library system provides a full range of basic library services at no direct cost to the public. These services include access to materials and equipment, access to the Internet, reference assistance and service in person, over the phone, through e-mail or regular mail. Basic interlibrary loan service of materials (postage, search fees, etc.), circulation of items to registered borrowers is free, as is children’s programming, bibliographic and computer instruction, and outreach service.
The library system offers supplemental library services through user fees that are charged to cover the cost of those services. These include charges for copying and such interlibrary loan costs as fees assessed by lenders not in our interlibrary loan network.
